Striding between tradition and modernity

Features: This is a small collection reflecting the author's academic career. The collection opens with "Reflection and Reconstruction—Thoughts on Development" and ends with "Text Interpretation—Meaning Discovery—Life Experience." This perfectly illustrates that the collection is not a disjointed patchwork but an organically connected whole, not a haphazard pile of articles but a logical combination. All of them must align with the theme of "Walking Between Tradition and Modernity," interpreting educational tradition through a modern lens. I have always sought bridges of understanding and dialogue between history and reality, tradition and modernity, theory and practice, the East and the West, as well as among various theoretical disciplines. I have strived to engage in interdisciplinary, equal dialogues with masters from all fields! I believe the topic of "Educational Tradition and Modernity" provides such a bridge and opportunity, as well as a vast and profound field worthy of my continued in-depth exploration! The collection includes seventeen articles under twelve themes, covering fields such as educational history, curriculum and teaching theory, higher education, educational philosophy, comparative education, educational technology, teacher education, as well as research on educational history, curriculum and teaching theory, and disciplinary construction. Over the years, my research areas have actually included rural education, vocational education, and basic education curriculum reform, among others, but these have not been included in this collection due to its theme and scope. Perhaps to some mainstream scholars and experts, it may seem somewhat scattered, broad rather than deep, and extensive rather than precise.
