Criminal Law Review 1998 (Volume 2)

Author: Chen Xingliang
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1998-04-01
Features: This collection provides a theoretical platform for criminal law research. It offers opportunities for publishing long essays that meet a certain academic "standard" and possess original insights. We firmly believe that Criminal Law Review will make a unique contribution to advancing and flourishing the theoretical research of criminal law in our country. In this volume, the theme of discussion focuses on evaluating the revised Criminal Law from a macro perspective. My co-authored article with Zhou Guangquan, "Beyond Confusion and Confusion in Transcendence," attempts to provide a comprehensive assessment of the revised Criminal Law's transcendence and its ambiguities over the 1979 Criminal Law, both in terms of value and system. This is also a response to my earlier work, "The Dual Mission of Criminal Law Revision: Value Transformation and System Adjustment," written before the revision. We also published Tang Xuelian's paper on international environmental crimes in this volume.
