Publishing Date: 2002-01-01
Features: "Research" is a grand path. Along this path, human wisdom has been propelled, gradually drawing closer to truth. And "education" is a part of all human endeavors and knowledge, which relies on research, of course. This book aims to let readers understand that all endeavors and knowledge must continue to be researched. Only through research can one gain understanding, and only through research can one progress.
Beijing Normal University Press, in order to publish the Complete Works of Zhu Zhiqian well, not only invested funds but also put in great effort, meticulously designing multiple solutions. The People's Education Press, to support the publication of the Complete Works of Zhu Zhiqian, generously donated the copyrights of the master's works, such as Child Psychology, published by the Press. Faculty and students of the Institute of Developmental Psychology at Beijing Normal University, in their search for the master's scattered articles, traveled far and wide, expending immense effort in handling vertical to horizontal formats, traditional to simplified characters, and meticulous proofreading. For all of this, I am deeply grateful. Here, allow me to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the collection, organization, and publication of the Complete Works!
Of course, the Complete Works is a relative concept. The six volumes collected here are: Education and Psychology in Primary and Secondary Schools, Educational Research and Methods, Fundamental Theoretical Issues in Psychology, Child Psychology, Psychology of Thought Development, and History of Child Psychology. The last two volumes, though co-authored with the master, primarily reflect the master's academic thought and should be included in the Complete Works.
This book consists of two parts: it introduces methods of educational research, such as experimental methods, survey methods, and material collection methods, while also including research on education.
