Features: The history of human civilization is, in essence, a history of the creation, application, and development of strategy. This includes both "conspiracy" but more so "open strategy," which is a legitimate and grand "tactic." Throughout history, in both turbulent eras marked by intense political and military struggles and peaceful periods of national prosperity, "open strategy" has remained dominant. Its widespread popularity, high status, and significant role in history are truly remarkable. With culture comes strategy, and with strategy comes the distinction between "conspiracy" and "open strategy." Though East and West represent different cultures and different winning tactics, they ultimately share the same purpose: rulers employing strategy to maintain their own dominance. Across the ages and across the world, "open strategy" has thrived: the power balance exercises of ancient Greece; Caesar and Octavian of ancient Rome seizing the opportunity for autocracy by carefully assessing the situation; saving humanity's souls through religion; achieving mutual benefits through reform and compromise; peasants responding to aristocratic oppression with blood and fire; the ideas of equality and justice that illuminate the world; power balance and co-governance at different levels; seizing the high ground of spiritual power to defend secular interests; prioritizing both agriculture and commerce as the foundation while expanding overseas as the framework; and breaking the mold, with emerging forces reshaping the world into a magnificent picture of "open strategy" in the ancient world. This book provides a detailed exposition of the "open strategy" of the ancient world and offers an in-depth analysis of how great political leaders and thinkers of that era employed "open strategy" to achieve their grand ambitions. We believe this book will greatly benefit your work and life.
