The series consists of 10 books, including Ye Shengtao's Collection, Yan Wenjing's Collection, Hong Xingtao's Collection, Zhang Qiusheng's Collection, Lin Songying's Collection, Ji Hong's Collection, Sun Youjun's Collection, Chen Qiuying's Collection, Bing Bo's Collection, and Chen Bobu, Lu Bing, and Others. The series was completed by the end of 2004. This collection includes 144 outstanding works by these renowned Chinese fairy tale writers, totaling approximately 900,000 words. Nearly every page in each book is accompanied by illustrations, with the entire series featuring nearly 2,000 vibrant illustrations. It is the most diverse, illustrated, and lavishly packaged yet affordably priced series of Chinese master classic fairy tales since the founding of the nation.
Chen Qiuying, female, was born in Tangshan in 1939. She graduated from the Chinese Department of Beijing Normal University in 1960. She taught in high schools for fifteen years. Since 1975, she has worked as an editor. Currently, she is a senior editor at the China Children's Publishing House and the editor-in-chief of Kid's World magazine. She is a member of the Chinese Writers' Association and the Beijing Science Popularization Writers' Association. This collection is a middle-length fairy tale series by the renowned fairy tale writer Chen Qiuying, including fifteen works, such as A Wonderful Journey and The Summer Night of the Andersen Statue. These fairy tales feature unique concepts, intricate and complete plots, rich imagination, and thought-provoking depth.
