Narnia Chronicles: The Last Battle

Author: (British) Lewis
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-11-01
Features: In the 1930s, two elderly professors often gathered in an unassuming tavern near Oxford University to chat and share their bizarre ideas, vowing to write a fantasy epic each. Many years later, this tavern became a sacred place in the hearts of countless readers, as it gave birth to two great works about faith and imagination: The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings. Since the late 1990s, a single mother named J.K. Rowling has almost written a new book about "Harry Potter" for her daughter every year. When asked how many books the series would ultimately have, Rowling replied that there would be seven. Because her mother had once read her a story about "Narnia," and that set of books had seven volumes: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, The Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, The Horse and His Boy, The Magician's Nephew, and The Last Battle. The ultimate journey to the magical land of Narnia is a great battle against evil. The last king of Narnia fought bravely, and as the sad farewell turned into a song of adventure, the journey began anew.
