"Health and Wellness" was originally a small column on page 3 of "Newspaper Digest." It appeared in 1996 during the redesign of the newspaper, with the goal of increasing its readability, relatability, and service. After the column was launched, it unexpectedly received a warm welcome from readers. "Newspaper Digest" is a small four-page newspaper with a circulation of over two decades, renowned nationwide for its slogan "Small, Big world, Affordable quality." Due to its limited space, selecting health and wellness articles required concise and practical content. At the time, the criteria for selecting articles were brevity and usefulness. Perhaps these two qualities allowed readers to obtain valuable information in a small space. Some readers praised it as "less is more." As a result, some readers suggested compiling these "less is more" pieces into a book, and four volumes have been published to date. With continuous demand from buyers, we found it hard to stop, leading to the creation of the fifth volume of "Health and Wellness." Today, as the fifth volume of "Health and Wellness" meets readers, we want to say a word of thanks to all readers who have long been concerned about and supported "Newspaper Digest": Thank you.
