Joke story

Features: The selected joke collection in this edition has the following characteristics:
First, contemporaneity, meaning the jokes chosen should reflect current social life, interpersonal conflicts, and emotional entanglements. In principle, we prefer "chuckling-out-laughing" jokes over "outdated" ones. Therefore, although this edition is merely an editing of existing jokes, we strive to ensure that the selected jokes offer an enduring and widely appealing aesthetic experience. Additionally, we have incorporated many excellent contemporary foreign jokes, such as stern German jokes, subtle and conservative British jokes, and the United States' penchant for satirizing lawyers, judges, and doctors, which have greatly broadened our window for borrowing from world culture.
Second, we have also made some reforms in the categorization during the selection process. Many past joke collections were either unclassified, lumping everything into one basket (A, B, C, D), or overly detailed and rigidly categorized. This time, we primarily focus on combining content and form, striving to ensure each joke has a clear category while maintaining relative independence and completeness.
Third, we have made every effort to include plot-driven and humorous illustrations for each joke, allowing readers to fully enjoy the charm of Chinese folk comedy culture through visual perception. There is a Chinese proverb that says, "A laugh makes you ten years younger," and a similar saying in the West: "Laughter is the best medicine." The primary function of jokes is to regulate people's psychology and create a comedic world for them. We hope that this joke collection, using an advertising slogan, can make you feel "20 this year and 18 next year."
