Features: Since the publication of "China Private Enterprise Laws, Regulations, and Policy Guide" in March 2006, it has received positive feedback and been well-received by a broad readership. To maintain the book's authority, we have included several newly promulgated laws and regulations closely related to private enterprises, including the "Bankruptcy Law," "Partnership Enterprise Law," "Criminal Law Amendment (VI)," and the "Supreme People's Court's Explanation on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Laws in Adjudicating Labor Dispute Cases (II)." On August 27, 2006, the 23rd session of the Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress passed the Bankruptcy Law and the revised Partnership Enterprise Law, which will take effect on June 1, 2007. The newly passed Bankruptcy Law applies to all corporate legal persons, clarifies the order of repayment for bankruptcy assets, and establishes a new system for bankruptcy reorganization. The revised Partnership Enterprise Law, consisting of 109 articles, introduces a new form of partnership called "Limited Partnership," clarifies the tax payment method for partnership enterprises, and provides explicit regulations on bankruptcy issues concerning partnership enterprises. The newly promulgated "Criminal Law Amendment (VI)" covers crimes such as commercial bribery, crimes against financial management, and crimes that severely harm listed companies and the interests of public investors. These laws will have a significant impact on the development of private enterprises. Therefore, we have included the relevant newly promulgated laws and regulations in the book in a timely manner, hoping to assist private enterprises. We will continue to closely monitor the issuance of relevant laws and regulations and supplement and adjust them in the book in a timely manner to ensure that readers can stay updated on the latest legal content. We aim to contribute our efforts to help private entrepreneurs master the law, resolve disputes, and protect their rights.
