Features: With the changing living and working environments, musculoskeletal disorders are becoming increasingly prevalent, and the number of professionals in the field is growing. To meet the needs of a wide range of practitioners in mastering and delving into musculoskeletal science, through long-term clinical teaching and mentorship practices, we deeply felt the need for a concise and practical specialized dictionary to help solve theoretical and practical issues in musculoskeletal medicine promptly and conveniently. In light of this, we reviewed a large number of domestic and international musculoskeletal medicine (monographs) and widely consulted the opinions of senior musculoskeletal medicine experts. At the same time, combining our long-term experience in clinical practice, teaching, and scientific research in musculoskeletal medicine, we spent five years and revised the manuscript multiple times to compile this book. This book collects over 100 common terms and phrases in musculoskeletal medicine, covering areas such as the history of musculoskeletal medicine, basic principles, fractures, dislocations, soft tissue injuries, internal injuries, herbal medicine, bone diseases, tumors, inflammation, tuberculosis, surgery, X-rays, and biomechanics. The entries are arranged in order of stroke count, with entries of the same stroke count sorted by word length. In terms of definition explanations, whether traditional Chinese medical terminology or modern medical terms, they are all expressed in modern language. For ancient medical terms that are difficult to explain, while respecting the original meaning, we have absorbed the different views of representative medical scholars and listed them one by one for mutual reference and comparison.
