Features: Introduces the techniques of painting lotus leaves and buds. First, apply a thin layer of white, then dye it with light red once, dye it multiple times with light red using the same color, and add faint stripes. For the back of the bud, apply a thin layer of stone green, then dye the shadows and highlights with grass green multiple times, and finally add stripes. For the front of the bud, outline the flower shape, following the same procedure as above. The bud is slightly open, revealing some flower color. The lotus stem has small thorns, slightly drooping, which is physiologically accurate. For the lotus petal painting, dye all petals lightly two or three times. Repeat the light dyeing on the outer side of the petals two or three times. Use light red silk for the straight and curved lines on the outer side of the petals, while using light-colored silk for the straight lines and white silk for the curved lines on the inner side of the petals. For the side of the lotus seed, apply a layer of light green, then dye it with tender green, and add multiple layers of grass green. After completing the grass green, dot some white on the protruding part of the lotus seed head. For the slightly front view of the lotus seed, steps 1, 2, 3, and 4 are the same as before. The color depends on the painting surface or the author's interest, which may bring new ideas.
