Features: Urban construction and building industrial product standards are the technical foundation for promoting the development of the construction industry; they serve as a bridge for transforming scientific and technological achievements in the construction field into practical productivity; they are essential conditions for organizing modernized and intensive production; and they are important means for facilitating trade. Urban construction and building industrial product standards are a crucial component of standardization in the construction field and hold significant importance in engineering construction. In recent years, to adapt to the rapid development of urban construction and building industry, the Construction Ministry has successively organized the formulation of a large number of industrial product standards. At the same time, since 2004, the National Standardization Administration Commission has conducted a comprehensive review of the currently effective national standards under the management of the Construction Ministry and the planned projects in the process of formulation. After the review, 103 urban construction and building industrial product national standards continued to be effective, while 11 standards were revoked. To meet the needs of a large number of technical and management personnel, to stay timely with the standard formulation process, and to provide users with comprehensive standard information, the Construction Ministry Standard and Quota Research Institute has organized the compilation of a product standard directory as of December 31, 2005. This directory includes 826 urban construction and building industrial product standards. Among them, there are 103 national standards and 723 industry standards. The directory is divided into three parts: Part 1 is the general classification directory, divided into national standards, urban construction industry standards, and building industry standards. Part 2 is the professional classification directory, categorized into 15 types such as general standards, urban public transportation, etc. Part 3 is the ISO international standard directory under the management of the Construction Ministry, including both current standards and draft standards at various stages. In terms of consistency with international standards, before November 2001, it was categorized as identical adoption, equivalent adoption, and non-equivalent adoption. After November 2001, it was categorized as identical adoption (IDT), modified adoption (MOD), and non-equivalent (NEQ).
