New additions include: Morphological Composition; Landscape Gardening; Environmental Artifacts; Urban Squares; Ancient Chinese Architecture; Folk Dwellings; Architectural Decoration; Interior Design; Barrier-Free Design; Commercial Streets; Metro Systems; Rural Residential Buildings; Courthouses; Banks; Computer Room Design; Solar Energy Applications, etc. Additionally, the technical parameters, quota indicators, and design principles listed in the new version are selected from updated design codes, and all design examples are comprehensively revised, making this large-scale reference tool more practical.
Third, the writing system features clear categorization and convenient reference. General-purpose content is compiled in volumes 1 and 2, while the other volumes focus on specific types of civil buildings, industrial buildings, and architectural structures.
Fourth, the new edition maintains the unique style of the original in its design and layout to preserve the continuity of this large-scale reference book. However, improvements have been made in paper materials and printing technology, making it more exquisite than the original version.
