Features: Garfield, born on June 19, 1978, has sold 13 million books since his debut and has 26 million readers worldwide. Garfield stands out for his "vices" such as "loving to complain, napping in the sun, gulping down coffee, devouring lasagna, chasing spiders, and chasing mail carriers." Compared to his predecessor, Tom from Tom and Jerry, while Garfield is also diligent in comedy, his "aircraft carrier-like physique and domineering attitude" make him impossible to be labeled as an "idol." However, it is precisely his more "human-like" traits that made him a star. As Jim Davis, the "father" of Garfield, the cartoonist,s: "People love Garfield because the things he says and does are things everyone wants to say and do but can't." Happy 26th Birthday, Garfield! Watch as a cat without feet jumps onto the bed? Walk lightly to watch TV? Rush to the fridge? The beloved Garfield, with his clever solutions to life's little problems, will surely find a way to tackle these challenges! Watch as a cat without feet jumps onto the bed? Walk lightly to watch TV?
