To prevent the Dragon Balls from being used by the villains, Goku and his friends had to make a ridiculous wish for shorts. After granting one wish, the Dragon God must wait a year before appearing again. During this time, Goku went to Master Roshi to train and then resumed his journey to find the Dragon Balls. Later, Goku continued his training and won the silver medal at the Three-Year-Old World Martial Arts Tournament. Next, the Demon King Piccolo, who sought to rule the world, appeared and engaged in a fierce battle with Goku. In the final showdown, Goku emerged victorious. Three years later, at the World Martial Arts Tournament, Goku finally won the championship. Five years later, new enemies, the Saiyans, appeared. Goku and Piccolo fought together against them, but Goku tragically died. There was only one year left before other Saiyans attacked Earth.
