Therefore, one could say that the eccentric old man is one of us among the "multitudes." His ordinary life experiences are something each of us might encounter, and his comical behavior could easily manifest in any of us. The author has exaggerated his story and his actions, creating a typical character. Yet, this expressionless old man seems to do better than us. His optimism and composure, his sincerity and humor, can inspire and benefit us as we chuckle and smile in amusement. Thus, even after being in this world for over eighty years, he remains beloved and unforgettable, and the reason lies in this very quality.
