Features: In the 1980s, when my mother was interviewed by reporters from Guangdong Television, she once mentioned her desire to write a Rousseau-style memoir in her later years. She said: "I admire Rousseau very much, and I admire his courage to speak the truth. So I also planned to write about my life as boldly as possible, presenting myself to readers as a real person, rather than pretending to be perfect like some others. In reality, a person always has many flaws, and many things in their heart may not be very healthy. However, due to her advanced age and frequent illnesses, my mother's wish was not realized. On the eve of the 10th anniversary of her passing, I put aside other manuscripts in my hands and devoted more than a year to completing this book. It outlines my mother's life, serving as a tribute to her. Following my mother's wishes, I tried to objectively record the significant experiences in her life as I perceived them, striving to vividly recreate a true, yet not flawless, Yang Mo. However, due to the passage of time and the limitations of my own perspective, there may inevitably be shortcomings and inaccuracies in the facts and opinions presented. I welcome readers to provide valuable feedback so that corrections can be made for future editions. Speaking the truth is difficult, and speaking the truth about one's parents is even harder. A real Yang Mo will live longer in people's hearts than a false one. — Lao Gui
