Features: This book is the research outcome of the sub-project "Research and Practice on the Course System and Teaching Content of Engineering Graphics" under the National Planning Project of the 15th Five-Year Plan in Educational Science, titled "Innovation and Practice of the Talent Cultivation System of Higher Education in China in the 21st Century." This course system was awarded the Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award in 2001, and its public platform textbook "Fundamentals of Graphics" (edited by Tan Jianrong et al.) received the First Prize of the China Higher Education Science and Technology Progress Award in 2000 and the First Prize of the Excellent Textbook Award for Ordinary Universities in 2002. This book is a comprehensive improvement textbook based on the public platform, suitable for civil engineering and architecture majors. The main content includes construction drawings, structural construction drawings, indoor water supply and drainage construction drawings, road and bridge construction drawings, perspective projection, shadows, and computer graphics. Parallel to this book, the comprehensive improvement textbook "Applied Graphics" (edited by Lu Guodong et al.) for mechanical and near-mechanical majors was published by Higher Education Press in 2002. Accompanying this book, the exercise book "Exercises for Fundamentals of Graphics in Civil Engineering and Architecture" (edited by Shi Linxiang, Wen Peifang, and Tai Liangping) is also published by Higher Education Press, available for selection. This book can be used by civil engineering and architecture majors in universities and colleges after selecting the public platform textbook, or as a reference for civil engineering and architecture design and construction personnel.
