Features: We don’t aim to grade comic art. The title "World Top Contemporary Comics Tour" doesn’t just mean that the book you’re holding is definitely worth reading, but also because it includes comic works from 82 countries. For just a few dozen yuan, you can tour the works of so many countries without moving—this kind of treatment is currently considered top-tier. The "Comic Enlightenment" series is a large book series dedicated to collecting and creating comics from around the world. The results you see here come from numerous countries around the world. They have sharp eyes that see what others cannot, and their works become unique perspectives for examining human nature. The history of comics is not long, especially when compared to the history of human civilization. Comics are a visual culture of self-reflection and self-criticism. Even if a certain type of comic sharply criticizes the behavior of a certain group of people, it is actually a needle-prick for ourselves. Similarly, even if a certain type of comic reflects the artist’s imaginative humor, that shared laughter is reserved for everyone to enjoy. Because humanity is one whole. Comics are a popular and concise art; anyone with insight can pick up a pen to express their own life insights. If this book becomes your bedside companion, perhaps one day you will become an author of "Comic Enlightenment."
