Therefore, one could say that the eccentric old man is one of us among the "multitudes." His ordinary experiences are something each of us might encounter, and his behavior could happen to any of us. The author has exaggerated his story and his actions, creating a typical character. Yet, this impassive old man seems to do better than us. His optimism and composure, his sincerity and humor, can inspire and benefit us when we laugh at his antics with amusement. Therefore, despite having been on this world for over eighty years, he remains beloved and unforgettable, and the reason lies in this very quality.
