Features: "The Archangel" lands on the Biya Desert in Africa, which is under Zaf?'s rule, where they are awaited by Bartfeld's forces, known as the "Desert Tiger." The Archangel joins forces with the local resistance organization to defeat the Desert Tiger, then crosses the Red Sea and heads toward the Indian Ocean. Along the way, they engage in a fierce battle with Zafт's naval forces, and Kira, who is aboard the ship, disappears during the fight. Kira drifts to a deserted island and encounters Aslan, who escaped after their transport plane was shot down. Although they argue due to differing viewpoints, they gradually understand each other and eventually part ways.
After, the Archangel finally reaches Abydos. As part of an agreement to repair the warship and replenish supplies, Kira agrees to provide technical assistance to Morgan Reid. There, Kira unexpectedly encounters Aslan again, who has secretly infiltrated Abydos to investigate. In their stiff conversation, both feel the lingering friendship deep in their hearts.
Once repaired, the Archangel sets sail toward Alaska but is ambushed and destroyed by Aslan's Nique. Enraged by the tragedy, Kira and Aslan engage in a one-on-one battle. Aslan pilots the "Divine Shield" to grab the "Strike," activates the self-destruct mechanism, and escapes the cockpit, leaving behind a brilliant flash of light. The Strike Gundam is destroyed—what will become of Kira?
