Features: After another year has passed, "Chinese Landscape Design Issue #2" was successfully published. Building on the foundation of the previous year, Issue #2 focuses on works from January 2004 onwards, divided into two volumes with a total of 704 pages, featuring 150 projects. These projects are distributed across 25 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and municipalities in the country. A total of 158 units and individuals submitted entries, and ultimately, 64 were selected for inclusion. Today's Chinese people need planes, cars, and high-speed trains to provide speed, need to gather passively to study in schools, need to live safely and crowded in communities, and need water, air conditioning, and flush toilets. Yet, in the true natural landscape, all of these things are not readily available. Humans are always like this, persistently pursuing psychological fulfillment, which is a major premise for landscape design in our cities. Doing so can sometimes be beneficial, especially for construction activities aimed at regulating microclimates, recycling water resources, and caring for the elderly and children in communities.
