Chapter 1: Overview of Australian Constitutional Rights
This chapter introduces the meaning, sources, and classification of Australian constitutional rights, with a focus on analyzing the limitations of their application.
Chapter 2: Explicit Constitutional Rights
This chapter focuses on rights explicitly stipulated in the Constitution, including the right to a jury trial, freedom of religion, the right to non-discrimination, freedom of interstate trade, commerce, and intercourse, and the requirement of due process in acquiring property. The content of each explicit constitutional right generally includes the provisions and background in the constitutional text, typical cases, and judicial disputes.

Implied constitutional rights are those not explicitly stated in the Constitution but derived by courts from the provisions, principles, and spirit of the Constitution during its application. These include the right to be free from unreasonable treatment, implied political speech freedom, equal voting rights, the right to non-voluntary detention, equal legal protection and due process, the protection of judicial review under the non-conformity principle, and certain rights during trial. "Implied rights" are a highlight and feature of Australian constitutional rights protection. The book also examines the constitutional sources, typical cases, and disputes of each implied constitutional right.
Chapter 4: Methods of Interpreting Constitutional Rights
