Features: The "Dictionary of Common Seal Carving Characters" is compiled according to the radical indexing method of the "Kangxi Dictionary," featuring a "Radical Index" and an "Character Lookup Table." Characters with the same radical are arranged in order of stroke count. The book includes 6,050 heads, totaling approximately 34,000 characters when calculated based on seal script . The seal script covers small seal script, seal carving, simple script, imperial seal script, gold script, oracle bone script, and other styles. During the compilation process, references were made to books such as "Shuowen Jiezi," "Kangxi Dictionary," "Han Seal Character Collection," "Han Seal Rhyme Compendium," "Bamboo Slips and Silk Manuscript Dictionary," "Warring States Chu Bamboo Slips Character Collection," "Ancient Seal Script Collection," "Compendium of Ancient Seal Scripts," "Ancient Pottery Character Collection," "Compendium of Ancient Characters," "Gold Script Collection," "Oracle Bone Script Collection," "Qing Dynasty Seal and Clerical Script Character Collection," and "Great Seal Carving Dictionary of China." For certain character heads not found in various seal script reference books, we either adopted the long-standing, conventionally accepted folk writing style or, based on the "Six Methods" principle, appropriately combined radicals and components to include them in the book, marked with the symbol "○" for reference.
