Features: Listening is one of the four basic skills in Japanese teaching and also a learning difficulty for Japanese learners. Overcoming this challenge helps to enhance learners' interest and has a significant promoting effect on improving overall learning outcomes. Based on the listening question types from recent years' national Japanese major proficiency tests, referencing existing Japanese listening textbooks, incorporating listening comprehension sections from Japanese magazines, and considering the characteristics of Japanese learning, key points of proficiency tests, and common features of Japanese listening training materials worldwide, this Japanese listening textbook was developed. The distinctive feature of this textbook is that all listening exercises are presented in the form of dialogues. They are vivid, interesting, diverse in format, novel in content, and progressively challenging. The content covers various aspects of Japanese society, culture, daily life, politics, and economy. It includes rich elements such as time, location, scenarios, events, reasons, actions, and characters. Not only is it suitable as a listening textbook, but it also helps improve conversational skills. This book can also serve as a training material for the national Japanese major Level 4 and Level 8 exams, as well as the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). Among them, Lessons 1 to 14 are equivalent to the JLPT 3rd Level level, Lessons 15 to 23 are equivalent to the JLPT 2nd Level level, and Lessons 24 to 30 are equivalent to the JLPT 1st Level level.
