Features: Polish is a foundational textbook series for university-level Polish language programs, consisting of four volumes. The primary objective of Polish language instruction in the foundational stage is to enable students to master the basic knowledge of Polish and, through repeated practice, develop fundamental language skills in using Polish, preparing them for the transition to an advanced level.
Polish Volume 1, Lessons 1-22 are designed for beginners, providing a concise introduction to the main grammatical structures of Polish, giving students a general overview of the language. Starting from Lesson 23, the course enters a phase of systematic grammatical consolidation, laying a solid linguistic foundation for students.
Each lesson includes three main sections:
1. Exercises: These highlight the key grammatical points of the lesson, presented in sentence patterns with frequent repetition. The authors' intention is for students to not only grasp vocabulary and grammar but also actively speak the language during practice.
2. Texts: These are written to be lively and engaging, facilitating direct comprehension and making it easier for students to listen to and speak Polish.
3. Review Exercises: These cover the key learning points of the lesson and increase the difficulty level, requiring completion under teacher guidance.
At the end of each lesson, there is a Polish vocabulary list for students to fill in with Chinese translations, allowing them to self-check their understanding of word meanings.
