Features: This book processes typical cases with the aim of unifying popularity, scientific rigor, and authenticity. To enhance popularity, the main text cites ancient classics and uses modern Chinese to explain them in multiple ways. To ensure scientific rigor, accuracy, and authenticity for easy reference, the cited ancient classics are often marked with chapters and volumes. A small amount of classical Chinese is included as evidence for arguments and is placed in footnotes for reference. The book lists typical cases, which serve as the basis for analyzing thinking skills and expounding logical knowledge, often titled as sections. Thinking skills and logical knowledge (thinking patterns, concepts, propositions, inferences, and thinking methods) are the elevation of typical cases, often titled as chapters. Typical cases of thinking skills are the materials, classics, outlines, and cross-sections, while logical knowledge is the viewpoints, weaves, frameworks, and vertical sections. The method adopted is to use viewpoints to lead materials, derive logical knowledge from typical cases of thinking skills, interweave the weaves and frameworks, and present a comprehensive and interconnected argument.
The Book of Songs, Small Yue, "The Cuckoo" says: "The stone of another mountain can polish jade." Modern logic, originating from the West, is a common thinking tool for humanity in the modern era and the key to unlocking the mysteries of the thinking skills of Chinese sages. Du Fu's poem "Gazing at Mount Tai" states: "I shall climb to the peak and overlook the small mountains." Standing at the pinnacle of modern logic with a macroscopic, bird's-eye view is the only way to grasp the full picture of the thinking skills of Chinese sages.
