Features: In the teaching of law at higher education institutions, in addition to textbooks, what other supplementary materials are needed? What kind of supplementary materials can best meet teaching needs? To address these questions, we conducted extensive surveys among college teachers and students in law schools and departments of law at universities. Through the survey, it was found that the supplementary materials needed in teaching are essentially three types: cases, regulations, and examination questions. However, current supplementary teaching materials are either specialized in cases, regulations, or examination questions. As a result, in a single course, it may be necessary to use several supplementary teaching materials to meet the needs, increasing the burden on students. Based on the above survey, to better meet the needs of law teaching, in accordance with the "Basic Requirements for Core Course Teaching of Law Majors in Higher Education Institutions" formulated by the Ministry of Education, we organized some teachers and doctoral students from Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, University of International Business and Economics, People's Public Security University of China, and Xiangtan University to compile this series of books.
