Features: That year, I stayed with my friend Aotuo in Yunju Temple in Fangshan, a suburb of Beijing, for a while. Thanks to Aotuo's connection, we shared a small monk's room, reading, chatting, and writing. Sometimes, when the monks went to the hall to chant scriptures, we would sit on the steps in front of the hall, gazing at the green mountains across the way, lost in our thoughts, speaking not a word for a long time. At that time, both of us were in a state of hardship, wanting to break free from the suffocating reality and take a breath. We both, without even discussing it, thought of coming here. It wasn't about escaping the world, but about giving our hearts a chance to rest and regenerate, gathering energy and courage in silence. In fact, it proved to be the right choice. Only those who have breathed two different kinds of air can truly understand the difference between them.
