Features: Learning the course of design drafting is highly practical. It requires not only theoretical knowledge but also gradual practice through a large number of exercises. Diligent study and frequent practice are essential to achieve proficiency. At the same time, while practicing, attention should be paid to the training of drawing techniques and methods to achieve a natural and skillful grasp, ensuring accurate, fast, and high-quality drawings. In particular, mastering the basic knowledge of three-view drawings, the methods of isometric drawings, the principles and techniques of perspective drawing, and other content all require repeated practice. Therefore, we have compiled the "Design Drafting Exercise Book" to accompany the "Design Drafting" textbook, providing a large number of relevant exercises organized by content and chapters for reference by students. Most exercises in the book can be completed directly on the provided paper, while some require separate drawing paper, which can be referred to as the "Assignment" section, such as pages 4, 5, 29, 31, 32, 35, 36, 37, 38, and 45. For the assignment pages, in addition to the specified requirements, students should use standard-sized drawing paper to enhance their understanding of standard paper formats. The volume of drawing assignments can be adjusted according to the teaching schedule while ensuring the fulfillment of teaching content requirements. The grid paper on page 1 is designed for freehand drawing practice, which can be used to sketch three-view drawings of models and later furniture drawings. Similar to the font pages 2 and 3, the number of such pages can be added based on the actual needs of different institutions. This book is part of the "15th Five-Year Plan" textbook series published by China Forestry Publishing House. It can be used as a textbook for interior design and furniture design programs, as well as a reference for students and teachers in related fields such as architecture and environmental art design.
