Features: This textbook is written for the "Circuit" course of undergraduate electrical engineering majors. It covers the basic requirements for circuit course teaching in higher education institutions, as stipulated by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Electrical Engineering, and extends certain content. The first volume contains 13 chapters: Circuit Elements and Circuit Laws; Analysis Methods for Simple Resistive Circuits; General Analysis Methods for Linear Resistive Circuits; Some Theorems of Circuits; Nonlinear Resistive Circuits; First-Order Circuits; Second-Order and Higher-Order Circuits; Steady-State Analysis of Sinusoidal Current Circuits; Circuits with Mutual Inductance; Resonance in Circuits; Frequency Characteristics of Circuits; Three-Phase Circuits; Steady-State Response of Circuits under Periodic Excitation. The second volume contains 6 chapters: Fourier Transform and Laplace Transform; Two-Port Networks; Fundamentals of Network Graph Theory; State Variable Method; Introduction to Nonlinear Circuits; Distributed Parameter Circuits. There is also an appendix introducing magnetic circuits and coils with iron cores. Each chapter is accompanied by exercises, and answers are provided at the end of the book. This textbook can be used as a teaching material for electrical engineering majors in higher education institutions, as well as a reference book for engineering technicians working in fields such as power, electronics, automation, and computers.
