Features: In the long-standing traditional culture of our motherland, Records of the Grand Historian is an important part of it, like the process of sifting through the waves, leaving behind countless shining pearls on the sandy beaches of time. Those significant historical events, those vivid historical figures, have brought us unexpected artistic enjoyment. This book collects forty-six historical stories, starting from the legendary Yellow Emperor and ending with Su Wu the Shepherd. It is like a colorful gallery, showcasing a variety of historical figures, including Yao the Emperor, who was known for his high moral integrity and abdicated the throne to Shun; Yu the Great, who overcame countless hardships to tame the floods; Zhou Youwang, who lit the beacons to win the favor of a beauty; Chu Zhuangwang, who was initially silent but became astonishingly impressive; Qin Shi Huang, who unified the six states and brought China under one rule; and Liu Bang, who defeated Xiang Yu and established the Han Dynasty. Of course, besides these emperors and generals, there are also Chen Sheng and Wu Guang, who rose in rebellion; Mengmingshi, who ultimately defeated Zhao after repeated failures; Zhang Qian, who made multiple missions to the Western Regions to promote cultural exchange; and Su Wu, the shepherd who remained devoted to his homeland after enduring nineteen years of hardships. Some are bold, generous, and warm-hearted, willing to sacrifice their own lives for the sake of their country and nation; others are selfish, base, and heartless, abandoning humanity's finest emotions for power and status. Here is the struggle between beauty and ugliness, between good and evil, and the great competition between human nature and bestiality. Dear friend, when you finish reading this book, what you will feel is not just the weight of history, but also a cleansing and shaking of the soul.
