Features: For a long time, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange has conducted extensive research and preparatory work on equity derivatives, including options products. This book aims to reflect some of our achievements in options research. The main purpose of this book is to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of options from both application and regulatory perspectives. Although we wrote this book using stock and index options as prototypes, since most of the content in the book is also applicable to foreign exchange, interest rate options, and other types of options, we did not emphasize the underlying assets of options specifically. Additionally, it should be noted that this book is not a textbook; most chapters are the result of our research and reflections, so the structure of the book does not emphasize logical coherence, and the formatting is relatively flexible. The book is divided into three parts. The first part is the Basics. This section is primarily intended to help readers understand the overall situation of derivatives and basic knowledge of options, highlighting the characteristics and trends of derivatives market development in recent years, as well as the necessity, feasibility, and urgency of stock exchanges developing options.
