Features: Animation art, as an independent art form, has existed for nearly a century. Its earliest records date back thousands of years to a cave in northern Spain, where a painting of an eight-legged wild boar was discovered. This is considered one of the earliest examples of early human attempts to capture dynamic imagery. By the late 19th to early 20th centuries, the function of animation was relatively simple, primarily serving as a form of entertainment for audiences. By the 1930s, animation gradually evolved into a new style of film, gaining increasing recognition. For instance, Disney's first fully animated, sound-equipped film, Steamboat Willie, introduced audiences to the character of Mickey Mouse for the first time. With the passage of time, modern animation has expanded into various fields, such as military applications, aerospace technology, architecture, film and television special effects, gaming, advertising, the internet, and science education. Its widespread use across these domains has continuously extended its functional scope. Animation now plays an increasingly important role in ideological and cultural education.
