Features: This collection of papers includes a total of 222 submissions, with 53 on pig feed and nutrition, 73 on poultry feed and nutrition, 40 on ruminant feed and nutrition, 13 on aquatic animal feed and nutrition, and 43 on basic research. It covers nearly all the fields of animal nutrition and feed science that have been a focus in China in recent years, reflecting the research achievements in these areas. In addition to traditional animal nutrition research, there has been a significant increase in reports on molecular nutrition compared to previous years. Institutions with more than 15 submissions include South China Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Northeast Agricultural University, the Animal Science Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Central China Agricultural University. During the editing and publishing process, this collection received strong support and assistance from peer experts, especially from the leadership of the Animal Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Society of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine. We express our heartfelt gratitude for this support. In the editing process, some papers were supplemented and formatted. Although every effort was made to carefully review and correct the content and wording of each paper, the scientific and writing quality of the abstracts varied. Additionally, many submissions were concentrated in August, with many exceeding the notified deadline, making the process extremely time-sensitive. Furthermore, due to the limitations of the editors' expertise, errors and omissions are inevitable in this collection. We sincerely welcome any criticism and corrections.
