Features:
1. This book records a total of 432 examples of clay seals, including: 341 pieces from the Xi'an Chinese calligraphy art museum and 34 pieces from the Beijing Ancient Pottery Civilization Museum (both unearthed from the same batch of Qin dynasty clay seals in Xiangjia Lane, northern suburbs of Xi'an). There is an appendix of 57 pieces. They involve official titles, geographical names, names, etc.
2. The arrangement of entries in this book is basically based on the "Table of Officials and Ministers" in the Book of Han, with slight adjustments. For example, "Taishi" (Imperial Physician) is listed under either the Minister of Ceremonies (Bing Chang) or the Minister of Household (Shao Fu), so it is assigned to one of them. The order of local officials is roughly based on the "Geographical Records" in the Book of Han, starting with the Inner Prefecture, followed by areas outside the pass, and then frontier regions. Names are arranged by stroke order. The appendix follows the same order.
