Features: What is meant by "Three Uses"? It refers to putting the heart into it, using wisdom, and using strength.
To put the heart into it means that one should not always expect things to fall from the sky. If you want a tenfold return, you must put in tenfold effort. You should not abandon your normal work and wait like a rabbit in a bush, dreaming of waking up as a millionaire after winning a $5 million lottery for a $10 bet. We should ask ourselves: Most things one needs to do in work and life are relatively simple, at least within one's capabilities, but why are there so few people who can excel at ordinary tasks? The reason is simple—lack of heart. To achieve something in life, especially in learning, work, and social interactions, requires tenfold effort. As long as you put your heart into it, nothing is impossible.
Using wisdom means that one should not live in a mechanical or rigid way. Difficulties need to be solved with wisdom, and the beauty of life needs to be painted with wisdom. One must learn to seek the best state of existence in a strategic manner. Every choice in life is a that changes direction. To live life at the mercy of fate is to hand over one's future to what is called destiny, and the result is inevitably a dead end.
Using strength means that while one may have different personalities—soft or tough—one cannot always be lukewarm. One must show some courage and firmness to live life with one's own style. Many people treat smooth social navigation as the law to survive in society. Such people only seek self-preservation and lack courage and backbone. In reality, if one wants to live life with dignity and, one cannot do without the "force" of being a person.
In summary, "Three Uses" is an active attitude toward life, a reversal of the status quo where most people just follow the crowd and do nothing. The primary issue in life planning is which direction one should go, or what kind of life goal one should achieve. Proper and well-placed planning requires extraordinary wisdom—to understand the world and to grasp oneself. Whether it is putting the heart into it, using wisdom, or using strength, one must learn to plan one's life with the power of wisdom. This is a crucial step toward life success.
People always want more but ignore utilizing what they already have. Although everyone's heart, wisdom, and strength have different connotations and forms, as long as one can put the heart into it, use wisdom, and use strength, one can open up a fertile ground for life. Ordinary people can become outstanding because of this "use" word. To understand the mystery of "use," anyone can become a wise person in life.
"Three Uses" is an understanding of the vicissitudes of life, wisdom for competing in the workplace, and a high strategy to break through survival crises. One should not always expect shortcuts, as life is often full of thorns and traps. But with "Three Uses" as a weapon, one can win in all situations.
