Publish Date: 2006-11-01
Features: In the past two or three decades, with the steady development of China's economy, the importance of organizational management has become increasingly prominent. Correspondingly, Industrial and Organizational Psychology has also developed significantly in China. However, due to its relatively late start and lower initial point, the research level in China still has a considerable gap compared to international standards. Specifically in this field, a large amount of research introduces Western concepts, terminology, theoretical frameworks, and research findings. Given the differences in Chinese social culture and ecological environment, the direct transplantation of research findings from Western scholars using Western participants clearly presents significant issues. The Chinese Society of Psychology Review systematically selects and publishes papers by these scholars to showcase the multi-perspective and rich academic achievements of the field of Chinese social psychology. Researching and understanding the social psychology of people living in Chinese culture, discovering and revealing the mutual construction process and characteristics of national culture and social psychology, and ultimately serving society and contributing to humanity—this has been the persistent pursuit of Chinese social psychologists for a century. The Chinese Society of Psychology Review systematically selects and publishes papers by these scholars to showcase the multi-perspective and rich academic achievements of the field of Chinese social psychology.
