Features: Teaching materials are an important carrier for educational and training work, and the development of teaching materials is the foundation of cadre education and training. To fully arrange teaching content, facilitate learners in applying knowledge to practice, better promote the on-the-job training of financial cadres, and further improve training quality, we have systematically and deeply researched the development of on-the-job training teaching materials while continuously summarizing training experience, carefully selecting training content, and striving to improve training methods. We have organized the writing of this set of financial cadre on-the-job training teaching materials—Enhancing Competence. This set of teaching materials primarily reflects the following four characteristics: first, emphasis on competence development; second, emphasis on case studies; third, emphasis on innovative approaches; and fourth, emphasis on interactive design between authors and users. This book is compiled by the Ministry of Finance Cadre Education Center and is specifically designed as a training manual for newly recruited personnel in the financial system. It consists of eight units: An Overview of Financial Culture, Basic Qualifications for Financial Cadres, Financial Agencies and Operations, Basic Financial Business, Financial Laws and Regulations, Official Document Processing, the Golden-Financial Project (Office Automation), and Official Etiquette. This book provides valuable insights for the financial system and the broader society to understand financial business and laws, as well as the rules, disciplines, and common knowledge of financial cadres in external communications. It serves as a helpful tool for financial cadres, especially newly recruited ones, to enhance their comprehensive professional competence.
