Features: The system of secured rights, as an important component of the property rights system, plays an irreplaceable role in modern economic transactions in maintaining transaction security, reducing transaction risks, and ensuring the realization of claims. The legislation on secured rights in various countries has also become the most active part of property rights legislation. With the formulation of China's Property Rights Law, secured rights have become one of the focal points of public attention. Certain issues related to secured rights, such as the scope of objects for immovable mortgage, the abolition of movable mortgage, the issue of off-plan mortgage, the problem of antichresis contracts, the issue of commercial pledge rights, the application of retention rights, the issue of priority rights, the problem of assignment security, the issue of retention of ownership, and the problem of concurrent secured rights, have become hot topics of discussion among the academic community, practical departments, and legislative bodies. The author, Ms. Yang Hong, has been engaged in higher legal education and research since graduating with a law degree from university. She has also long taught the "Secured Rights Law" course to undergraduate law students, gaining a relatively thorough understanding and mastery of issues related to secured rights. This book is a summary of the author's research on secured rights over the years of teaching, but it is not a textbook on secured rights. Against the backdrop of China's ongoing efforts to formulate the Property Rights Law to improve the system of secured rights, this book closely addresses the current hot and difficult issues in China's secured rights, clarifies their theoretical foundations, and combines them with the improvement of the secured rights system, demonstrating strong relevance and targeting.
