Features: During times of loneliness and happiness, who doesn’t like to pour out their feelings to everyone. Thus, loneliness fades with sharing, while happiness becomes even more intense. The storms of reality are too harsh, and we can only protect our bodies and souls with layers of concealment. What we show to the outside world is often a face behind a mask, as our hearts are shrouded in increasingly thick darkness, suffocating and leaving no way out. At such times, sharing becomes the best choice. Traditional sharing usually involves finding a suitable place, meeting the right person, and discussing the right topic. However, this kind of sharing is very dependent on the setting and the audience. Without a beautiful environment or a patient listener, the sharing can become dull and lingering. The listener may become restless and impatient, while the speaker, even if they speak eloquently, lacks applause and guidance. In the end, the one sharing becomes even more sorrowful, and the one grieving becomes even more sorrowful. Even if the shared emotions are happiness and joy, they lose their flavor and gradually fade away. Such sharing not only fails to achieve its purpose but has the opposite effect.
When the internet suddenly emerged, people who were stifled inside finally found another way to share their feelings, another outlet for their souls. Anyone can freely share and vent their emotions. And the listeners are countless, actively responding with words—agreeing or disagreeing, sympathizing or mocking. Diverse and colorful, they are unlike the listeners in reality, who are always pretentious and insincere. Taking off the mask of reality and putting on the alias of the internet, in a virtual world, we can record our true selves. Under the truth of reality, they must hide their true selves, but in the virtual world, we can be fearless.
Loved, hurt. Left, thought. Parted, scattered. Done, forgotten. Recording love, pain, separation, and thoughts, pouring out joy and sorrow with words. On the internet, no one knows who you are, and you can let go of the heavy burdens of reality and express yourself freely. After pressing the last Enter key, you take a deep breath and then happily hide behind the screen, pouring a cup of rich coffee, waiting for the listeners to make their grand entrance.
Such sharing is effortless and natural, without the need for concealment or pretense. Such words need not be beautiful—just expressive, just real. Such feelings, though shared in solitude, are not lonely and not unbearable. At this moment, you begin to be your true self. You no longer need to care about the opinions or feelings of the listeners—everything belongs to you, whether happy or sad.
Navigating the internet, you come across others’ words that resonate with your emotions, and naturally, you pause. In others’ sharing, you feel the presence of yourself, and you also become a listener.
once said: In a long life, joy always appears and fades quickly—the most beautiful moments always leave too soon. Joy is too fleeting, always slipping away unnoticed. But when recorded on the internet, when sorrow strikes, you can reread those long-missed words, relive past joys, and see the friends who once shared them with you. Thus, sorrow fades, and joy flows back into your heart.
