Features: Civil Trial Guidance and Reference is edited by the Supreme People's Court's Civil Trial Tribunal, with Justice Huang Songyou, Vice President of the Supreme People's Court, serving as the chief editor. Since its inception, it has gradually become an important platform for civil trial guidance and providing reference for civil trial practice. Particularly, the numerous articles analyzing Supreme People's Court second-instance cases published in the book, which are based on the Supreme People's Court's civil final judgments of second-instance cases, fully elaborate the Supreme People's Court's adjudication approach in handling related cases. These articles are characterized by rigorous reasoning, thorough analysis, and high authority, making them highly popular among readers. To further leverage the unique role of Supreme People's Court second-instance case analyses in civil trial guidance and reference, and to establish a long-term mechanism that meets reader needs and facilitates reading, the editors have decided to integrate and independently compile all Supreme People's Court second-instance case analysis articles from Civil Trial Guidance and Reference from 2000 to 2005 into a separate book, with plans to publish it annually in the future. During this editing process, the editors categorized all the analysis articles by case type, conducted further proofreading and organization, and added legal principles notes to earlier published articles, while standardizing the format of the articles.
