Features: "On Professional Civil Servants" is one of the notable works by Professor Katsuo Kataoka of the Faculty of Political Economy at Waseda University, Japan. At a time when our country is comprehensively carrying out administrative institutional reform, widely implementing the civil servant system, and strengthening talent resource development across regions, translating this book into Chinese for reference by a broad readership in our country is highly beneficial.
This book interprets civil servants as one of many social professions, offering a fresh perspective. Whether it introduces, analyzes, and critiques the national civil servant system of Japan, or discusses aspects such as the professional ethics of civil servants, their rights and obligations, and their work motivations, the content of this book holds significant reference value for China, which is currently implementing and refining its national civil servant system.
