Features: In the world, only two books can truly be called celestial texts—one is the I Ching, and the other is DNA. However, to understand the immensely vast celestial text of DNA, one should first comprehend the seemingly extremely simple celestial text of the I Ching—perhaps this is a shortcut. As Shenberg's pamphlet says, use the I Ching as a key in a dog's paw to unlock the life gate of DNA. Indeed, the I Ching, this pearl, is still wrapped in mud. What we need to do is to unveil the mysterious aura surrounding the I Ching, strip away the superstition, wash off the mud, and excavate the scientific essence within it. We must promote the great wisdom of the I Ching and make it the ghost of the impending second scientific revolution. This is the ghost of the revival of Eastern science and culture, which will roam among the more brilliant and glorious civilizations of humanity and lead the way!
For Eastern culture, especially the I Ching, Taoism, Tai Chi, and Yin-Yang, is often shrouded in a mysterious aura in the eyes of Westerners, leading them to call it metaphysics. Westerners find Eastern culture very puzzling—not only because of language barriers, but more importantly, because they find the principles it teaches elusive and deeply enigmatic. As a result, the exchange and communication between Eastern and Western cultures often remain superficial and fail to go deeper. As an Easterner, I hope to use this book to help Westerners and all those interested in the I Ching quickly enter the I Ching and step into the Yin-Yang world of Eastern culture.
