Features: This book consists of six chapters:
Chapter 1: Introduction, which introduces the development history of control theory.
Chapter 2: Introduces the state-space model of linear systems, mainly including the establishment of state-space models, standard forms of linear systems, and transfer function matrices of linear systems.
Chapter 3: Introduces the motion analysis of linear systems, mainly including the solution of homogeneous state equations, the solution of non-homogeneous state equations, motion solutions of linear time-varying systems, and solutions of discrete-time systems.
Chapter 4: Introduces the structural analysis of linear systems, mainly including controllability and observability of linear systems, subspace decomposition, realization, and minimal realization of linear systems, as well as controllability and observability of transfer function matrices.
Chapter 5: Introduces Lyapunov stability, mainly including the definition of control system stability, Lyapunov's second method, stability analysis of linear time-invariant systems, stability analysis of nonlinear systems, and applications of Lyapunov's second method.
Chapter 6: Introduces some basic methods for linear system synthesis, mainly including state feedback and output feedback, pole placement of linear systems, stabilization problems of linear systems, state observer theory, decoupling design of linear systems, linear quadratic optimal control, and robustness of linear systems as well as H8 control theory.
To facilitate readers in conducting control system simulation exercises after mastering theoretical knowledge, Appendix 1 has been compiled, which includes some commonly used MATLAB functions for system simulation, as well as MATLAB simulation programs for basic concepts and methods of control simulation.
Partial answers to exercises are provided in Appendix 2.
