Features: Molecular biology, as a cutting-edge science of the 21st century, has always kept pace with the times and advanced! The progress of this discipline is extremely rapid, with research methods and achievements evolving daily, placing considerable demands on the foundational knowledge, learning ability, and research qualities of professionals in the field. The postgraduate entrance examination for this major, although varying in question structure among different institutions, shares a common point: the content is generally divided into two parts. One part assesses the candidate's mastery of fundamental theoretical knowledge in the field, which can be achieved through question types such as definitions, multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, true/false questions, and short-answer questions. The second part evaluates the application of fundamental theoretical knowledge. Generally, several large-scale essay questions are designed, but they differ from the review questions in textbooks. The most significant difference lies in the fact that these essay questions are usually related to current academic research and theories. One of the purposes of the professional course examination is to assess the candidate's potential for academic research. Without the ability to conduct organized scientific analysis of problems, a high score cannot be achieved. Moreover, if candidates lack an understanding of practical issues and academic research in their field, it will be difficult for them to adapt to future studies and research work, as the learning at the postgraduate level differs significantly from that at the undergraduate level in that the former has a stronger research-oriented nature. This book attempts, within its limited scope, to provide some assistance in the limited review time of candidates for the key points mentioned above. For each important molecular biology professional content, the book summarizes and provides key knowledge points, in-depth analysis, practice questions, and mock exam questions. It is recommended that candidates spend some time in the early stages of review to go through all the content of the course, so that the general content of each chapter in the book is imprinted in their minds. Then, by combining with question analysis, they should grasp the focus of the questions and further align them with the textbook as key review points. During the stage of familiarizing themselves with the material, candidates should master the professional knowledge through repeated memorization and practice. This stage requires clarifying the knowledge framework and combining with question analysis to test their review results, thereby further strengthening their understanding of the key points. In the final sprint stage, candidates should further master the key points of the exam, mock questions, and answers to past exam questions, from which they can learn how to analyze questions and become familiar with how to correctly answer questions using the knowledge they have mastered. "A workman must have his tools if he wishes to do his work well." It is hoped that this book will become a powerful tool for candidates on their path to success. This book can also serve as a self-study and review reference for students in related fields and as a teaching reference for teachers.
