Features: In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology and the increasing frequency of international exchanges, a large number of loanwords have emerged in the Japanese language, prompting many Japanese linguists to exclaim that it has reached a "flood" level. As a result, reading and translating Japanese materials has become quite challenging, and readers urgently need a dictionary with a broad vocabulary that includes a significant number of new loanwords. To address this need, we collected a vast array of Japanese loanwords from dozens of recent loanword dictionaries, linguistic reference books, documents, newspapers, and magazines in Japan. It also covers loanwords from major scientific and technical disciplines and specialized fields, such as: mechanical engineering, electronics, instruments and meters, computers, mining, metallurgy, casting, welding, materials, chemical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, light industry, food and textile, clothing, agriculture, transportation, environmental protection, animals, plants, medicine, and pharmaceuticals.
