Hydrocephalus is a syndrome characterized by increased intracranial pressure due to disorders in the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid and an increase in the volume of cerebrospinal fluid within the cranial cavity. Children suffering from this disease have a certain degree of intellectual disability. Common symptoms include cranial enlargement, separation of cranial sutures, bulging fontanelles, protruding scalp, sunken eyes, (sunsetting), pale complexion, thin body, delayed development, intellectual disability, vision loss, and even vomiting and convulsions.
