Features: There are too many cartoonists in the world, countless in number, but those who can be truly called masters of world humor are as rare as morning stars. The Argentine cartoonist Joaquín Savardón is undeniably one of the countless masters of humor. Joaquín was originally named Héctor Savardón, born in Argentina in 1932 and later settling in Buenos Aires. Early in his career, his comic strip "Mafalda" gained fame after being featured in the weekly magazine "Vosotros" and "El Mundo." Besides "Mafalda," over the decades, Joaquín created a vast number of standalone comics and non-series comic strips, compiled into over a dozen comic collections such as "Men and Women," "Joaquin Therapy," "The Birth of Man," and "Don't Shout Too Much," which have had a global impact. Joaquín excels at using the sharp gaze of an observer to critique human nature and analyze the myriad aspects of life, with his works being sharp, biting, and piercing to the heart. His narrative skills and artistic techniques have reached the pinnacle of perfection. In the early 1990s, his comic works were among the first to be introduced to China, with two selected editions titled "Mafalda" and "Joaquin Comics" published separately, which had a certain influence in China. However, due to the limitations of the time, these two editions did not repeat any content, and all the comics included in the collections were wordless, considered masterpieces of the art form. Readers cannot afford to miss them, and cartoonists, in particular, should not overlook them.
