Mutual affection is the foundation of all love. Love is love, and only when there is mutual admiration can it truly be called love. Throughout history and across cultures, many heartwarming love stories have been built on mutual affection. The prince falls in love with the princess because of her beauty and intelligence; the princess falls for the prince because of his handsomeness and bravery. The seven fairies fall in love with Dong Yong's filial piety and diligence, and Dong Yong falls for the seven fairies because of their beauty and kindness. In short, all love stems from affection—where there is affection, there is love; where there is none, there is none. As the saying goes, "To each their own," though everyone has different standards for choosing a partner, the birth of love from affection remains consistent. Conversely, the saying "Forced love is bitter" also proves this from the opposite angle. Mutual affection is, by nature, an expression of true feelings. What is true feeling? Dr. Botner, an expert in human electromagnetic studies, conducted in-depth research on this question. He discovered that the sum of the speed of division and combination of brain cells generates an electromagnetic field, which makes people feel attraction or aversion toward the opposite sex. This electromagnetic field often forms the moment one looks at the other. If the scale of magnetic radiation is close, it becomes easy to fall deeply in love at first sight. Here are a few ways to test whether the magnetic force between two people is close:
(1) You can't stop thinking about them even before meeting, but once you do, it's as if there's so much to say yet you don't know where to start. This is a strong sign of magnetic resonance.
(2) You keep thinking someone is great, but another person is also very appealing. Only after choosing can you decide who to love. This is a manifestation of desire, not true affection, meaning there is no magnetic resonance.
(3) If you find someone approachable, it's just their personal charm attracting you—it's not mutual affection. Only the following five forms indicate true love:
① You think about them all day, even willing to sacrifice everything for them.
② You feel a sense of joy and stability when you're with them.
③ When kissing your lover, it feels as if your entire body and soul are melting together.
④ Your lover understands your unspoken thoughts through your eyes.
⑤ Losing them feels like losing the entire world; seeing them be affectionate with someone else makes you uncontrollably jealous. This is a sign of possessiveness, a deep, true love that runs to the bone.
It should be noted that love requires mutual affection, not one-sided infatuation. One-sided infatuation, as the name suggests, is longing for someone without their knowledge. It is also referred to as unrequited love. Depending on the situation, one-sided infatuation can be categorized into two types: felt infatuation and unfelt infatuation. The difference lies in whether the beloved is aware of being loved. If they are unaware, it's unfelt infatuation; if they know but ignore the feelings, causing the longing one great pain, it's felt infatuation. Since love is a mutual affair, one should reject one-sided infatuation. If you find yourself stuck in it and unable to move on, it's important to do some self-reflection and seek personal resolution. Just imagine—if the other person doesn't even know
